Oakland University Adding New Nutrition Program To School Of Health Science

The Oakland University Board of Trustees recently approved a new degree program for those interested in working in dietetics and nutrition.

The Bachelor of Science in nutrition will be focused on training nutrition professionals to work with clients and the community in clinical care, schools, food and pharmaceutical industries. Career growth in the industry is expected to rise by 15 percent by 2026, according to Amanda Lynch, Ph.D, R.D., program director.
