Temple gets $3.5M grant to study excessive weight gain during pregnancy

A team of Temple University researchers was awarded a $3.47 million federal grant to study evidence-based treatment approaches to preventing excessive weight gain during pregnancy.

The Temple researchers are partnering with the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) food and nutrition program in Philadelphia for the project, which is being supported through a five-year grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases of the National Institutes of Health
