Veterans will continue to have access to private health-care facilities closer to their homes with quicker appointments, as provided by the Veterans Choice Program Improvement Act.
President Donald Trump, on April 19, signed a measure extending the program, which allows health care for service-connected medical conditions and use of funding for it until it is exhausted.
