With Thousands of Students Arriving, Colleges in Connecticut Are Hustling to Get Students Tested for COVID-19

With 70,000 students now arriving on college campuses in Connecticut from across the nation, schools are scrambling to meet state requirements for COVID-19 testing.

At Quinnipiac University, students arriving from states designated as “hot spots” by Gov. Ned Lamont are taking a brand new saliva-based test and their samples are sent to the same laboratory in New Jersey that is processing the tests of LeBron James and other professional athletes.
