Providing bedside care is the main goal of nurses who report to work daily to fight alongside other healthcare professions in the battle against COVID-19. But what happens when there are more patients than caregivers?
In talking with the Dean of Nursing at Duquesne University, she explained that in times of devastation, like the COVID-19 pandemic, the world can see how critical the nursing profession truly is.
“We’ve seen with COVID-19 the bravery of nurses and the critical role that they hold in caring for patients 24/7,” said Dr. Mary Glasgow.
