Missouri State President Clif Smart isn’t just raising money for the university. He and his wife, Gail, are donating some of their own.
The couple pledged $1 million — to create four endowed professorships — as part of the “Onward, Upward” fundraising campaign, which quietly launched in 2017 and went public Saturday, Oct. 26.
