CLEVELAND, Ohio — The second piece of Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish’s workforce training initiative is underway, with the selection Wednesday of Cuyahoga Community College to coordinate training of health-care workers.
Workforce Connect, a public-private partnership, was launched in 2018 to train under-skilled workers to fills thousands of available jobs in manufacturing, health care and technology. Each sector uses a go-between organization to match potential employees with high-demand fields and coordinate training.
