During the next five years, the healthcare tide across the Tri-county is expected to change as local medical experts unite forces to implement the region’s first-ever health improvement plan.
“The plan examines our community’s health through the lens of social determinants that include poverty, the education environment, crime and safety concerns, all with the mission of providing a promising future,” said Mark Dickson, vice president of mission for Roper St. Francis Healthcare, in a press release.
