When Wendy Libby, then Stetson University’s president, met with Cici and Hyatt Brown on Sept. 29, 2017, she addressed a few of the school’s wants, ranging in cost from $5 million to $15 million.
The Ormond Beach couple asked what was most important.
Outside of Sage Hall, on a warm Friday afternoon, almost four years after that meeting, ground was broken on Libby’s answer.
“We persuaded them to name the building for them,” Libby said of what will be called the Cici and Hyatt Brown Hall for Health and Innovation.
