WASHINGTON — House Republican legislation that repeals and replaces the Affordable Care Act with a measure that could leave 24 million more Americans without health insurance received a thumbs down from Americans in a new poll.
By a 2 to 1 margin in an NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey, they said the GOP’s American Health Care Act, which was embraced by President Donald Trump, was a bad idea rather than a good idea.
