PhD Nursing Programs Ranked

Everyone knows what nurses do: everyone has encountered a nurse, whether in the primary physician’s office, the emergency room, or the hospital. Nurses provide the hands-on care, meets a patient’s immediate needs, and do the grunt work of the healthcare system.

But, outside of the nursing profession itself, very few people think about the other side of nursing: the nurses who have charge over all the other nurses; the nurses who advocate for other nurses in the board room, in front of Congress, and in the public eye; the nurses who do the research to determine scientifically on what works best for patients on the ground.
